I Recognise

Today we need to acknowledge what we have and what we have are the things we accomplish in life. Do we recognise the ones that feed it to us? No, Maybe or sometimes. Now let me start: I recognise the kindness when you say “that was great,” I recognise the touch when you touch my skin, I recognise the attraction when your body clings to mine, I recognise the sight when I gaze my eyes into yours, I recognise the sound when you whisper in my ears, I recognise the humility when you say “you are all I need,” I recognise the melancholy feeling when you ask for a hug, I recognise the patience when you wait for me to say “will you marry me because I love you and want to be with you for the rest of my life.” For me this is all the recognition I give to thee, And I know that I am very grateful for thee existence.
