I Miss You Dad (Altziemers)

Where have you gone precoius father, you don't even know my name, your eyes are void, no memories left yet your face is still the same. The man who built bridges so we could cross another side, If I could build one thing, I know I'd build, restructure of your mind. Where have you gone dear Father, as i tuck you!! into bed, for I long to hear those loving words. goodnight Ann and God Bless.

I couldn't stop the tears; my dad is the most important person in my life. I can't even imagine the pain of losing him...Amazing... God Bless u. Dima

am just reading this now Ann, am tearing! I was at my Pops side when he passed 3-years ago, from 100% crippling IBM (inclusion body myositis) a once "forest-warrior" laid low...

How sad it must be to watch your father lose his memory, Ann. Alzeimers can be so devastating to family members. I am grateful this disease has never touched my family, but it has certainly given many like you great pain. God bless you, Carolyn
