I Knew You and You Knew Me
I knew you and you knew me.
Both of us could clearly see.
And with our inner sight divine.
The meaning of our hearts.
I am very sure that we differ less.
I knew you and you knew me.
And each one knew his and her own self.
We could look each other in the face.
And see herein a truer grace.
That will make us function without struggle.
Look into my eyes.
You will see what you mean to me.
Search your heart.
Browse through your soul.
If you find me then you search no more.
Look into my hands.
You find there is nothing inside.
Take me as I am.
I will give.
I will sacrifice all.
Love is true.
Everything I do I do for you.
