Humorous Tribute To Three Soupers

Jack the Quatrain King a possible moniker 
When it comes to quatrains, he’s an astonisher
With humor and wit he deliver’s his world view
Unfortunately now, he’s part of a silly clerihew 


Linda or A Poet Destroyer
I didn’t know poetry had Warriors 
I read some poems and she loved to fight 
I would just read and think, that aint right


Seren Roberts, a welsh girl, yes she proudly is
Call her English and you prolly won’t here gee whiz
A poet and an artist I know this much is true
But did she write a poem talking about fox poo?


This is all in good humor towards three of my favorite poets here. Hopefully no one gets offended and if they do I’ll be happy to remove this.

Ha, I also enjoyed Seren's verse to her. Love your humor. Adding this poem to my favorite list. I'm thinking of running this contest again. First I have to ask other soup poets in having another clerihew marathon ... them 4 weeks were fun fun... clerihews all over the new poems of the day. always~ LINDA

I think Senren's is the best lol. Her comment added to the effect of people who may not completely gotten the joke part of it. Thanks for the comment. Yeah I like having fun with this form, even with myself. It's very fun.

lol...aint <---- love the word... yuppers you are from Texas.. I'm thinkig";-! what do you mean that AIN't right? My old battles, or the things i say. Wayland my poet friend. Love the clerihew. I'm glad you find this form fun to play with. I think I had some others who wrote about me. During this and other contest. I like the honesty and the whiplash you gave me. ha ha.. double take on Jack's silly part in this poem. teeheehee :-) PD

Yeah this form is to have fun, not to really embarass or put down anyone. What aint right, was the comments like little stinger, and some others referring to other things lol. Yeah I've been reading.

I see I'm not the only one that made a clerihew about the famous PD. Too bad I didn't know about this form and wasn't around for that contest lol. This is right up my alley lol. I guess I shouldn't brag about being able to write four lines of poetry.
