Hopes Returned

All these days that I limped on, once too often on a lonely lawn, always feeling somethings gone, and pondering why my minds so torn? I take a journey back down the road, decrying off my shoulder's load, picking up pieces of a joy abode, and on my horse back I rode. And while on the way to destiny, hurt by my minded mutiny, I bind up the pieces just to see, a once happy portrait of you and me!
