Hope Is a Tireless Toddler
.
Hope is a tireless,
wide-eyed toddler
who happily drools
at the thought of again
taking tentative
... steps.
She sways sideways,
reels backwards,
staggers forward,
falls down again
on bruised
... knees.
Again, she gets up,
starts walking, plodding,
innocently undaunted,
fumbling, tirelessly
toddling on tiny
... feet.
