Honesty
What would I gain by lying?
What difference would it make anyway?
Honesty is always the best policy
though I have not always thought that one through.
If the rules say five minutes then I'll try to
get done in four so I can do a review.
There are some who say it doesn't matter
but what matters to me is that I know.
I know and I know another One who knows
and that makes all the difference in the world.
When I have cheated in the past,
I have been left with a dirty taste in my mouth.
