Here In The Valley

Never truly caring very much about verse and or writing

Twas something that just happened one day a few years ago

Pressed and stirred and shaken since then yet, growing weary

And have been for quite awhile now; nothing joyful and no reward

Tis but the same mundane moment; jade in gray....

Eyes cast within a shard of shattered glass; and where's the laugh!?

Not in this place; as what could got twisted amid what should

Have been but everything got lost and I grew tired and time

Stayed the same; jack in the box as it always has been....

A very personal piece...a "llanto" of sorts...effectively stated....
