Heaven Above

Heaven above hear my cries, Listen Closely as tears fall from these eyes. Lend to me a moment of your time. Here and now I confess my crime. It is the first small step. Leaving the remorse and the grief where I wept. So here I lie in the middle of self inflicted harms. But take me now into your arms. Hold me away from the world to hurt no more. Pick my up from where I lie broken on the floor. Won’t you, please wipe away these tears. Hold my hand through these terrors, these fears. Oh, angels, hold me close and tame this wild heart. Save me from my self, before I am torn apart. Here and now, Lord I pray, Take me and hold me so that I may, Never fall away. Sarah Comstock May 5th 2000
