Heart Song

I hear the rhythm beneath your breast,
music of intense emotion,
with a volume of such depth,
it bypasses my ears
to enter my mind,
which interprets
for my heart
and tears

This is beautiful, Nigel. I love the line "music of intense emotion". Very passionate and moving write. Glad you liked the sonnet. My second attempt. Plan on doing more with that lovely form. Love Robin

This is a lovely Nonet, my friend. So much said here within this one. A person is lucky to call you their friend. You have so much feeling in your kind heart, and a capacity to love that many will never match. Love your friend, far away in Kentucky, Christie
