Hear Me

Alone as I shed tears I am rotten and unkempt Oh God! Please help, hear me as I repent I’m crying my heart out as loud as a piercing scream I am broken and torn apart in irreparable pieces I deem As my body loses its own last control of breath Just before the labyrinth of my own torture of death I beg You, oh God! To please save me for all my sin For I wanted to be freed from guilt eating me deep within

When we are shredded, and surrender looms, the gift of regret surmounts guilt, allowing us to breathe and purposely move on. I've felt all you say in this wonderful poem. Read my poem on "Guilt."

I love this poem, it is a prayer for forgiveness. As I see it, you have asked so you are forgiven. God Bless. Dave.
