Haiku 43

	life of the body
touched by fire, your silk skin
	radiant sunsets
	life of the mind
	theory-colored universe
	time, warping
	life of the spirit
	shimmering, shining belief
	bluest of skies

I like the first one. When I read it i felt the wonderful warmth of a sunset on my skin. The second one was hard for me to grasp. I think this works beautifully though, because mystery and the unknown settle into my mind. in this way, I see the mind. Very interesting. Bluest of skies.... this phrase makes the haiku for me. I imagine the All in the depths of the bluest of skies. Thank you Jack

Your haiku work is a lot more abstract than most. I don't always know where it's taking me yet at the same time I enjoy the ride. First and last are my favorites cause it has more concrete images. On a side note I wonder if there is a way to write a renga with just two poets? If you really wanna try it, it sounds like a much better practice than to jump ahead and try to get 10 other poets to tag along with you... let me know...

I enjoy the abstraction. Perhaps that has to do with my former life as an architect, and still as a painter. The renga idea sounds okay to me. Let's give it a bit of thought, but it should work.
