Grandma's Calling

Grandma's Calling A subtle truth, I want to convey... I long, to see you, before it's too late. Come share a laugh, exchange a smile... Will you sit next to me, and stay for awhile? Spend time with me, I am feeling alone... Give me reassurance as I face the unknown. My heart is fading; I am giving it my all... I long to talk with you, will you please call? I know life is busy; I don't want to interrupt... I will not be a burden, I won't ask that much. My sight wanes, as I try to see through... That life is still worth living, because of you. My spirit is willing, but, my flesh grows weak... I will always love you, is the promise I shall keep. This chapter in life will soon come to a close. I do not know when, I just wanted you to know. Before that time arrives, I want to see you again... To share a laugh, a smile, a hug before my time ends. By: Erin Werner/1 John 4:8 God is love.
