Notes About The Poem
The Film 'Gone with the wind ' reviews

Gone With the Wind

As
Scarlett
Is fully
Sexually
Attractive woman
Skillfully controls men
With kisses passionate ones
The wine and tobacco in wide use
Husband forcing his own wife for sex
All the values of life gone to the wind.

Shows violence of war, dying soldiers
Men and women’s infidelity
Hunger of Scarlett for TARA
No human vice left in it
Slaves nervous, smothering .
The problem of race
Each thing going
to the wind
in the
end

Really enjoyed this -- especially the last line. Both Mammy and Scarlett, slave and free, went to the same wind. Bravo. PS: Thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Summer of 63."
