Gone

Her tears soak her pillow at night She is clinging on with all her might Never wanting to let go But knowing that it must be so. To him she pledged her heart Sadly he wanted to part Now she wishes to make him stay Its all she thinks of everyday. so under the pale moonlight She spends another sleepless night Wishing for him to stay To spend the night in his arms always.
