Going Down

The pressure is building up like a volcano bubbling My heart and my mind I can't keep on juggling What is right and what is not to become of us Is as uncertain as the way the wind blows dust It started out so grand, things were so splendid Against all of the odds our love we defended But as the years past, our love turned to hate The simplest phrase soon started a big debate The fighting and yelling that is so commonplace Our problems and issues we could never face In the sea of love we were just bobbing around Because our ship of trust had finally gone down
