God's Spring Sculpture

The beautiful forsythia blossoms, Tiny green leaves and yellow florets appear. The sidewalks clean and free from snow, Easy to walk along and appreciate the environment. Tall trees blossoming, I observe the green leaves, Unravelling slowly and becoming a full leaf. The fragrant blossoms appear and reveal a cheery presence, Bushes with gentle pink flowers reaching out to meet the day. The environment many shades of light and dark green, Sunlight shinning through the full trees. A picturesque day surrounded by the towering apartment houses, The cloudy sky that clears eventually. God's picture perfect postcard blessing us on good weather days, The houses in the distance unique and good looking. A paradise to walk through the conservation area, Ducks and geese blessing the pond and swimming about, They create ripples and circles in the water, You can hear the sounds of the elegant seagulls. Flying overhead and landing on the shore of the lake, Picnic tables appear on the lawns, ready to welcome the neighbours. A walk amongst humanity with relatives and companions, God's spring sculpture is a blessing to mankind. Author: Gwen Meyer-Erlach Schutz
