Goddess of Mars

Goddess of Mars and of
all things desolate

I chart desperate needs
I measure hatred

Alone in a red filled
valley of despair

Hot winds lift and
spiral my hair

I am not there
I am the barest whisper

My talons scrape the blue
confines of heaven

while my dark- star constellations
spin in fatal, frozen orbits

I am not there - nor is infinity

"I am the barest whisper", you certainly weren't a whisper in this piece. Gripping end!
