Gladiator's Remorse

full coliseum
lions roar in hot cages
my heart begins to beat fast

cages open wide
we run, but cannot escape
our bodies rot in the heat

I am not familiar with this form... I shall have to look it up! A variant on the HAIKU, with 577/577 meter, so well composed here! A great title, and a wonderful piece!! Best wishes, Keith
