Give Peace a Chance

One world, divided by 7 continents. Different countries, billions of people, discontent Different cultures, different religions Different holy books, but the exact same sins. Our great grandparents were taught how to hate. So why must the generation of today, suffer the same fate? Yes, we all maybe different, but do we not bleed the same? Do we not hurt, cry, laugh n smile, yet only have different names? Our cultures and religions all teach us about peace and love No matter whom you are or who you pray to above. So why is society today, always judging by religion and color? Bringing down their brothers’ n sisters’ and fighting for absolute power. We are all in this together, when will they all understand? That there is no win or lose and this not what God had planned. We come into this world empty handed and will leave just the same. No material possessions, wealth or glory and not even fame. But what you leave behind is what will matter most. Love, respect and loyalty shown to others and not the things you boast. If we all could start today, and see beyond color and religion. This world would be a better place, as change starts from within. We can destroy hatred and wars, we can start the change. We need to stop judging one another and passing on the blame. We can start a new trend and abolish all the old harsh rules and ways. And if we could start by giving peace a chance, we will definitely see better days. 04 - JUNE - 2013 CONTEST - GIVE PEACE A CHANCE SPONSOR: - ALFRED VASSALLO

Indeed Sasha and it seems simple enough on the face of it..But mans insecurites always surface..the fear of death,.and oblivion; the need to 'be immortal' either through fame or money; and again they fall..' still i ackowledge this and press on..' enjoyed your thoughts..Joe..'
