Give It Some Time

Give it some time, It is too early. The wicked world Will show its glory. With its sweet demeanour, It welcomes you all. She shows its dark, When you respond to its call. It decimates the fallen With it’s sweet chirp. Its devours its beings With out a burp. The world is a trial, Devoid of faith. Its cunning ways Suit the deniers of straight. In the conniving world, We are hopelessly lost. The sweetness of eemaan Has gone for a toss. As shirk looms high, Our fear prevails. Our trivial heart, Is behind many veils. Once in a blue moon In a chance encounter We fall in prostration And begin to ponder The destitute of the world Seem to give us bother We decide for now that The world needs a soother But in truth, We are bound. Culture over faith, And insane over sound. With an almighty ego, And a conspicuous mask To crush our ‘self’ Is an onerous task Yet so many times, the warners cried. The enemies are coming With a crushing might No proclamation Could be more correct. Yet not a word Can we interpret. We simply ridicule them As the tales of the old For the fire of the hell? O how very bold! Happy to submit to anarchy and lawlessness We are Joyous with the trend, snobbish about our carelessness Time will stop, Culminating on the day. When Allah will assemble, The progeny of the clay. Can we carry on like this? Belittling ourselves every day. We were created to worship But deliberately went astray. Life of this world, Was shorter than a drop. In my grave, The time does not stop. I surely cannot regret, I definitely cannot repent. My time is over, My soul is spent. Trust not the world Submit to your lord Except Allah, There is no other God. For the corrupt and evil, Who are always running. Who take no heed To any counsel or warning. Give it some time, It is too early. The wicked world, Will show its glory.
