Game Set Match
the scars run so deep
it even keeps me out of sleep
perhaps it is all in my head
but it is also keeping me out of bed
all those secrets and stories
laid out in their full glory
has made me confused
left me feeling very abused
you should feel some shame
for playing a stupid game
i should be blamed
for thinking you could be tamed
so instead it has me amused
a little beaten & bruised
you may have won this war
but i promise it wont happen any more
but you're welcome to try
even if it is all a lie
to get me back on your side
so there's no place left to hide
for we all start as strangers
encountering many a danger
the truth does not always set you free
or even bring you back to me
so we dance the time old dance
taking every little chance
breaking down walls
answering natures little calls
and then it's all de je vous
the story of me and u..........
all wrapped up in cliches
for yet another day..............
