Full Attention
the eyes are mesmerized
they stare and stare
to look and to see...
the ears hear
the oncoming sounds
drumming into your pores
filling your minds with trash
the dumpster is full,
but indulging in more
as volume is
all the way up
seeing and hearing
murdering, killing,
disasters, tragedies,
catasrophies, outrages,
fights, guns,
war, stupidity,drugs
do you blame your mind for how
it acts,
or are you taught how?
