Forgive
Forgive
A shabby box it is the host,
Part of Father Son and Holy Ghost,
Brilliant fire of bluish light,
Deadly to the touch don’t try it,
Burns through blockages, of sin,
Eye for eye, burned from within,
Even in the blackest night,
Forgiveness comes, within, too right,
Depart from ways of sin,
Disease ridden, the suffering,
Deserve you what the light can bring?
Forgive thy brother, do it right!
Poor outcast from the burning light,
Be sorry and forgive,
the cross all forgiveness brings,
Forgive another, forgives ye him,
Who is the light,
Holds his arms out come within,
Forgiveness our birthright,
Though the beast of man does sin?
