Forevers Fool
Slowly the past keeps slipping away.
Those sweet little dreams that didn't come your way.
The journey of hope has only one rule.
That you never stop being forevers fool.
That incessant ticking of time going by.
Slowly drowning in yesterday's pool that is dry.
A lifetime expiring a day at a time.
A soulful existance that ain't worth a dime.
Forever's fool will get no ones pity.
Just cold blooded rhetoric that's run's through this city.
That incessant ticking has come to an end.
And forever's fool is now forever's friend.
