Forever and a Day

Forever and a day – Ill weep for the loss of you and me Forever and a day - our all eternity it seems this loss of you still seeps blinded always feeling -never seeing She flits from my grasp Forever and a day – Ill seek (Note for contest:I wrote this 15 years when my Mother passed away. Yet some how the She was so much more than the Mother I sought every night in my dreams, She became a prophetic longing that loomed on my every horizon where I longed for home. The place of belonging I sought, the coming home I never found.)
