Forbidden Love

You meet someone special They become an instant friend, Assuming its ment for ever Only through death will it end. Together you share happy times Lend a shoulder in time of sorrow, Assume thing's will get better That there's alway's a tomorrow. What does one really do When the feeling's become more, Think of each other daily Can't wait to see them at the door. Inside you know its forbidden But, in your heart its so real, For the sole sake of friendship You keep to yourself on how you feel.

This is a wonderful piece Jodie, alot of us feel this way at some point in our lives and wonder if we should cross the line, but know to lose what we have before as a friendship is well worth keeping hidden what we might feel.. Thankyou for your comments on my work, love this poem, love jo xxx

Jodie my friend, you described forbidden love so well. If we know it's wrong, we should NOT do it. SIN is the transgression of the law, and the payment of sin is death. Thank you for sharing. Ernilando
