Hundredth diamond In the middle of an ocean the place where it live a nation... ...Seychellois Mix of race unique and unite We live like a whole family Yes! you are the most beautiful one You are the most precious one Where your greeness is the decoration Of its nature Yes, the place I called paradise With the inspiration of the poets I will express With the melodies of the singers Will give echo to my words For you, I will do anything If I have to, I will give my life For you Good Morning, Good Night Our unforgettable tradition We must preserv Because it is a precious Treasure that we owe Because for the love Of my country I will build my future

An inspiring, patriotic write, Shirley. I think it was Nathan Hale who said, "I regret I have but one life to give for my country." Your poem reminded me of his sentiments. Very nice. Love, Carolyn

Great patriotic sentiments toward your nation, Madeleine. It is good to behold and I find it quite commendable that you challenge yourself to write of your heart in English. If you are not sure about the spelling, just use spell check to guide you. By the way, like you, I also speak French although I am not from France. I grew up in Belgium.
