I've lost a spouse, mother, father, grandparents and many other...but I cannot imagine the loss of my child..though I empathize. Sweet words written from a loving heart...blessed be in your healing journey.

Deb - the poem was written a long time ago now as a more or less first experience tribute to a very young nephew taken by cancer. Since then we've lost many others, and the healing never seems to end the older we get. Bless your journey, too, Deb.

Writing helps us to cope with loss - a powerfully emotional piece Terry which transforms the personal into the universal.
