Fate Says Goodbye
The rare chance entered and I leapt
Would this chance arise once more
Visions of fate have now been kept
One more goodbye now is in store
Sadness, however, does not loom
The rare chance entered and I leapt
I write these words of certain doom
I pondered by night while I crept
A long cold walk, with no hope left
Stubbornness my refuge last night
The rare chance entered and I leapt
Yes these words have a little spite
Before I ran, but this time walked
I can’t forget, and have not slept
Tell me why we would have talked
The rare chance entered and I leapt
