Falling from the Tower

Propelled to new awareness
Old structure outgrown
A glimmer of light
As truth is known
Crumble the dead flower

Flashes of insight nag
Summoning change
Called to a higher challenge
Escape the old range
Falling from the tower

Higher will flows
Perceive how to run
Position of freedom
False perceptions overcome
Crumble the dead flower

Upset the status quo
Confront the truth
Drastic conditions arise
Matter changes its booth
Falling from the tower

Mind is opened
Self in true nature
Accept your position
Surrender to the stature
Crumble the dead flower

Solitude or imprisonment
Understand and transcend
Sudden, fitful inspiration
Squarely facing the end
Falling from the tower

There’s no escape
Raging emotions overwhelm
Rational thought of no use
Insight flashes from the helm
Crumble the dead flower

Made our own prison
Understand the new road
Accept who we are
Walls miraculously explode
Falling from the tower

We are suddenly freed
Lightning flash strikes
Fall into the unknown
Accept future’s spike
Crumble the dead flower

True price of freedom
Words are but signs
Language represents people
Communication changes time
Falling from the tower

Individual and collective
Embrace destruction of lies
Face to face with devastation
Resistance hurts and denies
Crumble the dead flower

Embrace unknown future
Self-realization abounds
Sacrifice personality
Revitalize Love’s sound
Falling from the tower
