Evil's Hold
What makes a good soul go bad?
To leave behind everything they had.
To turn their backs on the good life.
To make a sane man go totally mad.
Some say they just lose sight.
Of what's wrong or what's right.
Their lust for money and power.
Drives them to kill and fight.
The root of all evil goes beyound fame or power.
It's a twisted desire that grows ever hour.
There is no remorse, no concern, no shame.
Evil is just a good soul gone sour.
I've seen it take it's tow in this bloody game.
Evil lurks in all of us, we all are to blame.
Evil is a fire that only we can bring to flame.
So put out that fire until none will remain.
