Ever Chasing Snowflakes

Chasing countless snowflakes
...across a vast field of white
no two the same
...those who claim to know will say
A magical land of quiet
...where sound finds no place to cling.
Dance in the snow, a pleasant thing we do
...along with the gnomes, fairies and elves
although they are never seen
...they are with us always.
Chasing snowflakes
..brings out the kid in everyone
We all share in the joyous laughter
...when snowballs thrown
hit their intended target, or not!
When winter comes to us again
...its time here is all too short
therefore, enjoy it while you can!

I wish that I could vivify my comments to you and to all better. But I end up babbling and making no sense. So, I will leave you a message today letting you know I did read your poetry and I enjoyed it. I love reading poetry and the poets here are so talented. Have a wonderful day Melody. Love, Carol

Well, you managed to put a positive spin on winter, which is really neat considering how awfully cold it can be. I really enjoyed reading through your details here~Chris
