Erase All Evil

Once upon a dream
An old man in the night
Heard a little child’s scream
He debated in his head
Whether to save the child in the night
Who gave him such a fright
So old man night debated
And deciding he ran into the trees
He couldn’t let himself not save a potential dead
Not this not again
He ran and ran and ran
And heard the clackity clack of his old mans knees
But, he realized something was amiss
When every step he took was the same
The old man in the woods
Did not want to have a Lady Death kiss
After a minute the strange feeling left
And he ran into a pure, white tree
Where there sat a golden haired young boy who’s face could only be described as carefree
The silence broke
The boy spoke
He said----
“A peace for a peace
A love for a love
Your life I shall now take
And send it to He who lives above
Evil takes and evil knows
When you become infected Evil grows
I know what you did
So long ago
You killed a dyeing dove, the body you hid
My job is to erase
The evil that you are
I will listen to your pleas
But remember your face
I will not!”
At first, the old man confusedly scratched his head
But after hearing these words
He screamed and shouted saying “this is only a nightmare
It’s all in my head, soon I’ll awake safe and snug in my bed
But, they both knew he was lying
After a second, his body was being burned
It was painless but deadly
Beautiful yet awful
And strange but natural
