Erase

Little things that make you cry, Your ill judgment for someone, The sad moments of goodbye... Shameful stuff that gets you down, When you’re asked to stand erect, And review all of your life Which moments do you regret? Which are those that make you thrive? Would you dearly keep the good; Erase all the bad that could Surly ruin a fine mood Set you down or turn you rude? Sadly it is not a choice, We are linked to all that passed. If we're sad or we rejoice It’s in the mind, aimed to last. Amnesia...a solution If you want to be just lost In the human evolution Where done actions are just dust. Should you want to leave a mark On this strange blue part of space, Keep your memories a part Of existence, pace by pace. You don’t ever know for sure That what you might think or do Can’t be seen as future cure For a person just like you. It would be utter selfish To erase your life to date, Because you want to start fresh And avoid being yourself.
