Enchantress

Glass on table fills with morning Awake her name stuck in my throat I reread her poems sweet words breaking my resistance Thinking do i want to fall in love again Maybe too late I have met her there is desire Feelings crawling like winding snakes in my soul Her radiance and fragrant words kiss me How did I know I would feel these thoughts What is she thinking what do her eyes see lately the sun breaks through the clouds Before that the sun, the moon were mere black holes Do I wish to fall in love Do I seek a muse a lover a sister a friend an everything Maybe she is a sorceress a siren a poetess an enchantress Outside my window the honeybee labors furiously from flower to flower Much like my thoughts as her name is on my lips Am I falling to enchantress calling I walk to the beach by the seaside as a flock of seagulls flies from the shores of my soul....
