Embrace the Cross
Do not be afraid
Proclaim your faith and love
He will provide and without him
You can do nothing and will fall away
~ Kyrie e-le-i-son, Kyrie, e-le-i-son ~
~ Christe, e-le-i-son, Christe, e-le-i-son~
Find the fullness of faith
See the Mass with new eyes
Understand the Lord's prayer
Cultivate virtue, happiness and peace
I was envious of prosperity
But pride holds them in chains
Greed covers them like a garment
They care little for the poor and oppressed
I have cleansed my heart
Found the sanctuary of God
I have washed my hands in innocence
Have been lifted from desolation and awakened
~ Kyrie, e-le-i-son, Kyrie, e-le-i-son ~
~ Christe, e-le-i-son, Christe, e-le-i-son ~
Yes, I have awakened
As if from a very long dream
When my flesh and my heart fails
My God will be there to take my hand
Kyrie, e-le-ison, Kyrie, e-le-i-son
Christe, e-le-i-son, Christie, e-le-i-son
Lord, have mercy, Lord, have mercy
Christ, have mercy, Christ, have mercy
