Eggs

EGGS

Eggs
Six eggs
Oh so bright
Hidden from sight
Then squeals of delight
A child on Easter morn
Finds a green one in a nest
So eager now to find the rest
Parents call out getting hot or cold
Who’s having most fun the young or the old?

Hmmmmm....loved those Easter egg hunts, Daver! Some I'd hide in their rooms, cause some were quicker than the other. I'm happy they'd had a nice visit...tat tat tat tah tat, can wear you out after a while.:) Then it turns into a case of..'here's your hat, what's your hurry?".:) Still, I'm sure you'd all had a wondeful time!! Take care, keep well!! Love, Mikki

The title begs reading, never know what I'll find but love the bright happy feeling this gives me. The tradition is a yearly event that never seems to go out of style. I enjoyed the hunt too "Dave! Luv, Lizzie

A perceptive question Daver. :) I guess that's why family life is so important. Being all in it together is where it's at and everyone shares whatever it is. I enjoyed how you created this etheree.Have a beautiful one Daver. May your day be filled with exquisite music. - love Bob

Just wanted to thank you for your comments, Daver. Dane Ann and I will be fishing off Key West and the Dry Tortugas from April 12-19. (Some of that time we'll just be walking around the city of Key West and enjoying the sundown celebration.) There's room aboard if you wish to come! Love, carolyn

:) I think you can rest assured the children had more fun. Parents had to hide the eggs, but I'm sure it pleased them to see their children hunt. Great write on a tradition that adds a lighter side to the celebration of Easter, Daver. Perfect form and the poem is perfectly delightful Love, Carolyn
