Egg-Stant History 6

“Well I am indeed honoured dear Owl” replied Dumpty, thoughtfully he perceived this might be a good time to enquire about what he had witnessed by the river, so without preamble he asked the learn'ed creature, “Oh” said the Owl “you wish to know about (Him) well where do I start?? As it so happens my great great uncle was an observer/Owl to a gentleman named John who just so happened a little earlier on to have been a disciple of (The Master)”. “Oh” said Dumpty in great anticipation. “Now before I tackle this subject Dumpty” said the bird; “which so many humans discuss and discuss, and still miss the point on, I must re-arrange my tail feathers... They were most badly squashed when I fell back in shock earlier, and it is the most undignified feeling ever. So if you don't mind checking on the cat I will in privacy rearrange them and gather my thoughts on how best to answer your question” After checking on the poor cat, and thinking once again on how he wished to be the whole of one again, Dumpty wandered a way along the sea shore gazing at his wan reflection in its water. He knew it was so pale because he was separated from his 'whole self', he heaved a sigh and made his forlorn way back to the Owl, as he arrived it was just alighting on the branch again. “Well that is much better” it remarked aloud. “Nothing like a test flight to settle the pinions you know! Now where were we? Oh yes you were wanting to know things weren't you??” Dumpty nodded. ”Well the time before that you asked a question about moguls' who they were and so on dear egg, and whether they were related to the 'Mongols' now I believe it always best to answer a first question first, that way everything is in 'chronological' order” ‘WOW’ thought Dumpty, this Owl really knew its stuff..! “Now most fortunately I am probably the best point of contact to learn about 'moguls’ as opposed to ‘Mongols’ as I lived with the young ruler Gün Temür 1400 through to 1402, now the moguls are a relatively new tribe as such coming to prominence in oh, I'd say the late 30's early 40's now they are no relatives of the Mongols.. They just have a similar sounding name, similar not the same got it?? ‘Mow-gulls’ like mow the grass and the seabirds Dumpty!! They have certain characteristics like they like to sit in flimsy chairs, they are known to wear dark glasses over their eyes, they also like running round a thing called a (set) shouting out ‘Cut!’ as absolutely loud as possible or if its not the word (cut) they say ‘its in the can’; they also have a certain form of address (they are known to go about calling each other Daahlings) they are also fond of smoking foul smelling cigars. At least the men amongst them, they are also known to wear silk dressing gowns and lay around pools of water that they never swim in, and they have opinions about absolutely everything...(that is what I know) about the' moguls' so should you ever meet one you will know what to expect dear Egg.”

oh my, you went from John to moguls and even gave the egg a lesson in its pronunciation. I don't know where you are going with all this, but I think it is so cute the way you have humpty listening with such admiration to the wise owl.
