Dying Young
Sometimes it's soothing to weep
We've lost someone, gone to eternal sleep.
Her memory we'll always keep
Close at heart with a passion deep.
It's the hardest thing for us
To let some things come to pass.
Your death,Dr Vera
Was an end of an era.
But your works we'll always cherish,
They live forever,they'll never perish.
A persistent, distant call on we men
To acknowledge the plight and might of women.
Our voices won't remain under the tongue
When we see those butterflies burning
For no longer will they remain
Only a species without a name.
