Drowning Beneath the Surface

Fallen from the depths of my own despair Caught in the current of destruction My path has caught me I have destroyed what lays ahead The ocean has drowned me in a deep blackened sorrow Trapped beneath the surface Giving up is my only choice I no longer have the breath in my own voice Lost in a world where the lights have faded away Letting go rather I never wished to stay Stepping on the rocks that dig into thy feet Where the world within me falls asleep Sarah M. A very strong depiction here. Ominous & powerful.
