Dreams and Nightmares
The dusk of summer passes on
Giving us a fighting chance
Fitful slumber inches by
Dreams of lands unknown
Unseen in the real world
But is real unto us
Ageless wonders
Mental Havens
Shielding us from daytime woes
But in a tear of these havens
In the darkness of our minds
Nightmares plague us
In our vulnerable state
Fabricated from vivid memories
Of our awful sorrows
But nightmares can be prevented
If we keep our minds open
And Hearts bright
To repair damaged havens
And fill the dark with light
