Dont Say I Told You So

It’s beautiful, but a little sad The way their pray in unison I heard a message that made me glad Today, Oh I hope that it’s true People plugging for the lost and depraved Expressing horror at the way we behaved No one seemingly, cares more than The people, that say they do I look around everywhere I look into eyes that stare I look into hearts that seem empty and blue Oh yes I do It’s time to be honest I think Beauty depends on this Where in the thumping heart of reason Can we find something to believe in Balance inside our minds Don’t say ‘I told you so’

I love the part that says,"It's time to be honest I think beauty depends on this". I cant agree with you more that honesty is truly an aspect of true beauty. Wonderful poem.

I really like this and it is true that people are hard to trust. But remember we are human and as humans we all fall and fail at times and we all make mistakes. It is how one reacts to mistakes, their own and others that determines their hearts. True Love and compasion for others is Christ and what He taught. It purifies the soul. Thank you for sharing sincerly Bobb

I really like your reply. I think it is perfect for the subject matter here. And its so true that we all make mistakes but true beauty is shown when we react in a positive manner and use our compassion to radiate love to others. And at that very moment, the identity of one;s heart is revealed <3
