Dont Say I Told You So
It’s beautiful, but a little sad
The way their pray in unison
I heard a message that made me glad
Today,
Oh I hope that it’s true
People plugging for the lost and depraved
Expressing horror at the way we behaved
No one seemingly, cares more than
The people, that say they do
I look around everywhere
I look into eyes that stare
I look into hearts that seem empty and blue
Oh yes I do
It’s time to be honest I think
Beauty depends on this
Where in the thumping heart of reason
Can we find something to believe in
Balance inside our minds
Don’t say ‘I told you so’
