Does She Know

Does she know that my heart starts to pound every time that she comes near? Does she know my tongue gets tied in knots speaking words she’s meant to hear? Does she know as soon as I see her, I turn into an idiot? And have to keep wiping off my hands because my palms begin to sweat? Does she know that my knees grow weak and that I can hardly stand? Does she know that by her presence of my intelligence I loose command? Does she know that I love her with all my heart and soul? And to make her my wife some day is my first and final goal? How could she know? When I’ve never told her so. Does she know I write her letters full of love that I’ve never sent? Does she know day-dreaming about her is how my afternoons are spent? Does she know I write her first name followed by my last? And I remember every meeting we’ve ever had in the past? Does she know it breaks my heart when she dates other boys? Does she know a simple smile from her fills my days up with joy? Does she know I want to be to her more than just a friend? And I want to be by her side until the very end? How could she know? When I’ve never told her so.

This is a wonderful poem Joe. It's sad when you feel all these amazing things about the woman you love and can't tell her. A love like this is so beautiful but if you don't express how you feel, you'll never know if that love is reciprocated. Wouldn't it be great to know? You need to tell her how you feel about her. You never know, she may feel the same about you. Don't let this love slip away from you because you'll always be wondering 'what if '. Lovely piece Pam x

Oh Joe what a lovely write. The saddest thing to know in life, is that she doesn't know how you feel about her! Remember that Joe. I am only 18 years old, but I am wise. From all the heartbreak I have witnessed, you learn more and more with every heartbreak. She probably knows, but to make sure is to face fear in the face and tell her Joe. A lovely poem Joe, I love it. and I can relate to this 1000%! Great poem Joe I enjoyed it very much. :) Good write my friend.
