Does Any One Hear Me?

Here I sit, I’m shaking Inside, my heart is breaking Inside, my screams are loud and violent Outside, I am still and silent The tears, the well inside my eyes Yet I work so hard to maintain my disguise I wish someone could know, How far I feel from home Inside, I feel a constant churning Inside, I constantly am yearning Outside, I smile and am free Outside, no one can see the real me Does anyone hear me? Can anyone see? How hopeless I feel Lost behind the wheel of this small and pathetic life of mine.
