Dirt On the Casket

Handful of damp earth Bitterness that thick. Mind in momentum tone, Churning out a high pitch. Dirt on the Casket I don a new nights ocean With ****-pillow screams. "What if's" I spoke, Teasing a dead hope. Dirt on the Casket Incoherent your compassion Un-hearted goodbye, and sighs. Keeping it stone, when speaking, To me on insecure knee. Dirt on the Casket Lawyers, new toy, child support. Telling of friendship, waiting papers. Faster it mentally creeps, The twisting on betrayal. Dirt on the Casket The Hard, is letting it hit the lid.

Like fast food ... a neo-modernity carved from the brevity of the incomplete thought in a complete imagery. The poet is the complete, the man the incomplete ... the poet hides the man that makes him invisible ... grief and joy are hard to tell alike then, beauty is irresistible, my friend.

The death of a relationship leaves us wondering, "What if?" I like the way you "bury" the hopes and dreams by repeatedly putting "Dirt on the Casket." This is very nicely written, Johnathon. I especially like the line about donning "a new night's ocean with muff-pillow screams." Very intriguing write! It's good to see you posting again! Love, Carolyn
