Notes About The Poem

Diminishing Minds

“Yesterday” We could write each other a
“Worldly script” From the heart,
“Today” We have our fears
When pondering “Where to tomorrow”
Our “Two worlds colliding” As the
“Thread” Of our lives bares its soul
In “Thoughts of you”. We ask each other
Is this “The way it use to be?”
When trying to dwell in “Memories”
Oh so insecure. “Love is” We still believe
Never will it be just “A long distant dream.”
So we live on in “Hope”
Cling to a time “From there to here”
Revel with the “Ghost of an achievement”
Till it is time for us to be “At the final goodbye”.

A beautiful Poem with the colors of love and its memories, which are always so intense and deep that it stays even if we want to go away from it. Thank you for liking my Independence Day Poem Harry. The way how thought changes from field to field in life when heart is concerned, you have clearly depicted a colorful picture with a very deep imagination. The journey of thoughts in the name of diminishing minds is suited nicely. Loved always my sweet friend, bl

Beautiful. And you are right, 'love is' even when all other memories are gone. I once cared for a woman who couldn't remember her husband's name or her marriage, but she absolutely knew she loved him and had 'forever' so she said, she just couldn't remember why.
