Dignity's Reward

We may have different opinions We might not have the same faith You might like red wine at dinner While i might just abstain We may dress in different colors Our flags we may wave proud I might reserve my feelings While you scream yours right out loud They say dont judge a book by its cover Get to know whats deep inside Treat others how you like to be treated Teach your children not to lie Dignity can be a daily gift If you give it to others free If we all practiced this principal Another war we will never see.

Sadly we humans will always find justification to destroy each other. If only more people subscribed to this kind of thinking. Great write Carl!
