Desperate Call
It appears I am at a stand still
Nothing flows as it once did
Falling backwards ever steady
Yet not wanting to do so
My heart cries out for help
Cries not heard by human ears
A hand reaches for me
It seems so far away to take
It was me that moved away
For My Lord is dedicated and sincere
Oh how I pray that He will grab me
Pull me back to where I need be
A heart aching deep within
Feeling void of all feeling of love
Don’t let me perish this way!
Bring me back to where I once was
Make me stronger than before
Let Your Spirit fill me to overflowing
May my life have purpose and meaning
Touch me Lord, so I may be there for others
