Depths of Soul

Upon a tempestuous sea, I’m tossed and turned, Between currents of joy and fires that fiercely burn. Your love, a turbulent tempest, ravages my soul’s core, Yet, in its embrace, I find refuge, a balm to adore. You’re a thorn, piercing the tender fabric of my heart, Leaving traces of longing, tearing my world apart. But oh, the sweet agony of your presence, so divine, A web woven, entwined with time’s celestial line. Ensnared and enraptured by your ethereal grace, Bound by invisible chains, entwined in love’s embrace. With every breath, your essence weaves a beguiling spell, A symphony of desires, a tale only our hearts can tell. In dreams, you appear, an ethereal specter of love’s unrest, Whispering secrets and promises in my heart’s behest. Sleep eludes me, as you wander through restless nights, A haunting melody, igniting unquenchable delights. Though I yearn to break free, to forge a path anew, Your presence clings, an aftermath steadfast and true. Yet, I can’t deny the beauty in this exquisite pain, For love’s essence remains, in despair’s domain. You’re the constant star that guides my wandering way, The North to my heart, both in night and in day. With each sunrise and sunset, I witness your radiant glow, An eternal love, a tale forever destined to bestow. Thus, I surrender to your unyielding grip and sway, Embracing the tumult, finding solace in love’s display. For you are both thorn and balm, inseparably entwined, An enduring love, eternal, defined. In the depths of my soul, your mark forever etched, A love transcendent, defying all that is fetched. Though I strive to break free from your embrace’s hold, You’re the uncontrolled love, inhabiting thoughts untold.
